She's actually driving us insane with the Bitterblue Blah de BLAH DE BLAH de, Fire de 'I'm going to name my kid ARCHER' blah de blah. What have you done to our friend? So good KIWI refuses to take it off the homepage though we want to KILL HER for being so stubborn. Geeeze it's a lot of pages to wait. Otherwise, we LOVE. LOVE. LOVE, your romances, your characters are so interesting. And STRAW went to Paris last summer. She said you did that perfectly. I probably won't be getting to Paris any time soon, but now I feel like I've been there. Only picky complaint...awkward boy names...why can't they just have normal names?...xo. Yes. YES. We did UPDATE the site finally. Sorry, it's freshman year for me, STRAW and PEACH. And we are all in honors classes and it threw us for a loop. THE JAM girls are all SAT and ACT and on the college tours so, don't look for them for awhile. In the meantime: SPRING BREAK LOOMS

Poor, Champion Irish Dancer... She has been grounded by her own ACL and a fractured leg. (Because she went skiing instead of to the Holiday Hard Shoe Clinic with Kiwi. WHY? WHY? Sniff.)
Her little KIWI will have to go an and represent without her. Peach, the uber-talented piano playing maven promises to teach our sad, broken friend some piano this winter.

We aren't vamp fans, but even jaded like we are at 14 (OK fine and at 15 because STRAW is all old with her learners permit and JAM is actually 16and17now and they were the ones that said to check out the DAMON, sigh Damon sigh...guy. We can't deny a great, wounded, messed up hero who longs for his brother's girl. SIGH. Fine. Fine. DAMON. He's fine. Just fine with us.

THE HUNGER GAMES DEBATE Goes on and and on...
Suzanne Collins gets it. Though the jacket cover and text does not. THIS plain cover hides an amazing romance. Our debate goes ON AND ON AND ON ABOUT THIS SERIESIt's a perfect love triangle story. And WTHECK is going on on the Hunger Games Facebook Page? With all the whiners all worried that the MOVIE is going to beef up the love triangle? Are you people MENTAL. YAY. and YAY. Can you please TRUST that the movie is going to be awesome? All you people who say that Hunger Games was good because the love story is 'different' and special because the love triangle was 'different' are NUTS. The love triangle was solid from page ONE, and there and just like any other most perfect love story. Too bad, you fell for it but you fell in love so get over it...admit you like romance you mean haters. ROMANCE RULES. Hunger Games only sold sixgazillion copies because it's an AWESOME ROMANCE not because it's DIFFERENT. Because there are not many good romances out there for us to read--and because when a GOOD ONE SHOWS UP IT SELLS LIKE MAD. You are passionate about it because you fell in love and you wanted to fall in love again (so you bought book two) and because you wanted to find out if she got to be with Peeta or Gale in the end. (and so you bought book three even though it messed up Gale and RUINED the triangle). So...yeah... Stop PRETENDING it was about anything else. As if you were all worried about THE CAPITOL and the government overthrow. HA Leave the movie people alone. It sounds like THEY GET WHY YOUR HEART BEAT FAST when you read this book.
Should you be with the boy that destiny had in store for you, or should you be with the boy life (the Capitol) throws at you?

This month we became aware of an awesome group of men and boys that encourages guys to 'Take A Stand' and step in to use their strengths to protect women who are vulnerable and who might need help. They are @mencanstoprape and www.mencanstoprape.org And through April we wanted to feature some of their work.
We ask you to talk to the men and boys in your life and just ask them where they stand on this issue. Keep the conversations going, and someday maybe they too will stop something terrible from happening to a girl or a woman.

We are snobs for good romance and this one will stick to your heart. But we are also now involved even more with the underlying topic in the book. This story is about a girl called JESS moving through her past (because she suffers from PTSD) and falling in love despite what happened to her.
More importantly despite the walls she's set up to protect herself. We've all got that going on a little, huh?
But there is also the much undiscussed topic of Gray Porter who stepped up as a skinny freshman and stopped a senior from Almost raping a girl.
A girl he hardly knew...and THAT we do applaud. HE DID THE AWESOME, right thing even though he was afraid...that's COOL.
February was National Awareness Month for Teen Dating Violence.
April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month. So we want you to be aware of it too.
While we were tweeting about Anne Eliot's book, Amost, we stumbled across this awesome group of COOL guys devoted to partnership/vs. blame. Using strength for GOOD & Taking a Stand because we think OUR guys are cool, honorable and not ALL part of the problem.
We bet you think so too. Most men and boys are awesome and would never hurt a girl. Not at all. And most, the boys we know anyhow would gladly be part of this cause. Oh. And now they are. Thanks to US talking about it with them. We're all about the people and the positive message from the guys at 'Men Can Stop Rape'!

| Amazing dark romance. Surprised us all. We never knew you could fall in love so hard with a couple made up of one awesome (so HOT and unforgettable Cas) who's also a ghost hunter, and his Anna, the murderous (yes we said murderous) ghost Cas is supposed to send away--Only of course he FALLS IN LOVE WITH HER. And it's perfect love story. We did not believe it either. But...Kendare blake is flipping AWESOME. And she's @kendareblake on twitter. She wrote us back. That also has never happened to us. So... for the first time we are featuring a linked book all the way to her buy page. Because, yes, we are real peeps and when she followed us and was real, and cool...and nice. It choked us up.
