Romeo and Juliet Anime Trubute video.

 I've watched the series three? times now, and have read the manga once. There are subtle differences between the two, but they fall almost perfect along the same line (whereas a lot of others don't -.-). RomeoxJuliet begins with a flashback of the Capulet household being attacked, where a (very) young Juliet is seen taken to safety. It then flashes to the present day where a masked hero named the Red Whirlwind prevents crises in the city of Neo Verona, caused by the head of the Montague household, who reigns power. Romeo, who opposes his father's choices, goes to his own lengths to help the citizens. When Juliet turns 16, though, her 'family' promises to tell her the big secret (which would be that she's the only remaining member of the Capulet family). Somewhere amidst all this, Juliet sneaks into the Montagues' ball, where she and Romeo see each other for the first time. The story carries on much further from there (considering that all only takes place in the first or second episode), taking many well-developed turns of the classic story as Romeo and Juliet fight all odds. It is, all in all, the story of the two star-crossed lovers.

Hi, Plum here! I'm the new YAromance rookie that will be in charge of the Anime/Manga page (: The video here is the introduction/grand opening to my page, dedicated to all you romantics that have been aching to find some good lovey-dovey anime and manga. (Well, maybe it won't be quiteee that lovey-dovey, but pretty close).

Much like the video, I'll probably be posting a lot of AMVs (Anime Music Videos) accompanied by information on that particular anime and a link to where you can watch it (sounds great, right? :D). If I offer up a manga, which probably won't be quite as often, I may show some pictures of the best manga pages with the information. Along with this, I may occasionally put up random pictures of anime/manga-esque couples (only the cutest pictures) and perhaps some videos that are an accumulation of those type of pictures set to a sweet song.

For those of you curious about this RomeoxJuliet anime I've shown here, well read what I have to say next. RomeoxJuliet is an anime along as a manga that takes on a new approach to William Shakespeare's classic story. I personally love it, which later on you may learn is an impressive thing, seeing as my taste in romance is really quite picky.
