Beautiful.
Powerful.

Lila Felix.
We bow to you.
The sweet, perfect romance swirling around Jenna's dark background left us crying, smiling, and LOVING this book. A wonderful read, and if you enjoyed it as much as we did, check out her other books (because they are fab too.)

A Timeless Italian Love...

Ok so this one is aimed a bit older then we are.. but we read it and loved it. Italy is perfect and so is this love story! Two beautifully twisting tales make up one fabulous novel. Perfect summery read. :)
Ya Romance READING LIST. It's getting VERY LONG.
And we promise to try to clean it up, but that sort of feels like cleaning up our rooms...so yeah...that's why the clutter is still here.

We'll try to keep the middle current and then this side messy...okay?

Now that we've recovered a little from The Hunger Games(see our ongoing blood fight over what we think of that series here)

We've managed to move on and read the Simone Elkeles books-- Perfect Chemistry and Rules of Attraction & Leaving Paradise & Return to Paradise... go Simone E. We HEART your HEART.

We've also got a tribute to RON AND H on this page...as we are never far from that Harry Potter feeling...how could we possibly be far from that feeling?

And while we are on that topic....we must run this small photo as a tribute to Edward Cullen and Bella Swan's story. We loved it. We still love it. We don't care what the h8ers say. It's a great romance and you all know you read it twice and SAW THE MOVIES. You know you were sad when they played that cool montage at the end of Breaking Dawn. You got choked up and realized...sigh...it's OVER. sob sob.

So SHUT IT. No more talking bad about a book that's been with you since middle school. Twilight is just simply forever. It's part of all of us just like Harry, Ron and H. Even if you want to deny it, you KNOW the deal. Okay? K.
Stained Series by Ella James. We got the first one free and then we were hooked! Love it.

ANOTHER ANNE ELIOT BOOK DELIVERS THE SWEET ROMANCE.

Hunter Kennedy needs a place to hide in Colorado.
Vere Roth needs a friend.

And...of course (look at the cover) They fall in love. LOVE LOVE LOVE! <3

Funny best friend, adorable nutty older brother, a character that makes you wonder what it would be like if ANY of the One Direction/Wanted boys moved in next door and feel in LOVE WITH YOU.
According to this book, it would be great.
Another Fabulous Trilogy, Coming to an End...

Lauren Oliver did it- sucked us all in to another twisted, beautiful, sad and addicting dystopic society.

All the Broken Pieces, by Cindi Madsen
h, and made me cry. A total must read.

ALMOST is everything I look for

Almost, by Anne Eliot
Almost is a beautiful book about healing, redemption, and love. It gave me butterflies, made me laugh, and made me cry. A total must read.

ALMOST is everything I look for in YA. Great characters, story, and of course the kind of love that gives me butterflies and has me yelling "kiss! kiss!" at the characters. I love how the author shows us how Jess's struggle with the past and how she grows and gets stronger throughout the book (the younger sister was great, too) So many teen girls have dealt with this or a similar situation and I admire the author for addressing it and then showing that there's healing and hope. And then there's the secrets Gray's been holding in and how he deals with it. Gray Porter is sweet and cute and a great guy. The love story is totally sigh-worthy. I could go on and on about all the amazingness of this book, but I'll just say read it, read it, READ IT!!!

Nevermore by Kelly Creagh

It’s got the basic formula: Complete opposite guy and girl thrown together in class. But then things start getting weird—in a good way. Well, not so good for the characters, but great for the readers. The Edgar Allen Poe comparisons are creepy good. The further in I got, the harder it was to put down. The romance was torturously drawn out, but still good. Of course it had to end in a cliffhanger. Hopefully I’ll get the closure I need in the 2nd book of the series.

Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare

I always get sucked into Cassandra Clare’s books. She's always writing the perfect mysterious love interest sexy guy. This one's set back in the past, the popular steam punk genre that everyone’s excited about. This one worked. Admittedly, I like the Mortal Instruments just a little bit better, but this book was still a great read with great romantic tension. And like all the other books I seem to be reading, I have to wait until the next book to get all the answers.

Born at Midnight by C.C. Hunter

Kylie’s life is quickly changing. Things get even weirder when she’s shipped off to a supernatural camp. There, she makes some unusual friends, and I really liked the friendship between the girls. A few of the phrases Kylie uses haven’t been used since the early nineties, and they took me out of the story a little bit. But I’ll let it go since there were so many drool-worthy guys. The end was killer. Not to give anything away, but seriously, she’s going to wait till later?! No one has that kind of self-control. Of course that’s why I’m going to be checking out the second book when it comes out, which I’m sure is the point. As for the love triangle, I’m casting my vote for Lucas.

What Happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen

If you want good contemporary romance, Sarah Dessen always delivers. McClean moves so often, she develops new personas with each move. This move, she accidentally ends up being herself. Only she’s not sure anymore who that is. Loved the friends who accepted her so easily. I could’ve used a little more romance, but the point was more about her finding herself, which I liked. My favorite Sarah Dessen is still This Lullaby so check it out if you haven’t already.

WE LOVE HARRY POTTER. WE LOVE HARRY POTTER. WE LOVE HARRY POTTER BOOKS. MOVIES. How could we not? Fruit Salad grew up chewing on the covers of my old HP books and now she's starting middle school. YUP. Pretty soon she'll be a little fruit all on her own and out of the salad and posting right here cuz...I'm getting a softball scholarship and she's already trying to get into my room. xo JAM
P.S. We love love love Ron and H. together the BEST.
Perfect for eachother.

IT's about SOULMATES. In all of these books. SOULMATES. See the video below...and hear the Soulmates song...it's good stuffffffffff.
J. K.S.FS and MOMS
Cindi Madsen RULES we say!
READ. THIS. Romance plus mystery plus just overall great.
Best Teen Romance Novel, Teen Romance Fiction, Best YA romance
Almost, by Anne Eliot. Love story. Butterflies. One of the coolest 'destiny' couples ever written in a book. Just...amazing.
I think this is MEANT TO BE our next read! ;)
As soon as we finish stinking school work.
sigh.
PETER PAN--OUR FIRST LOVE...EVER
If you are a major Disney, adventure, fantasy, and Peter Pan. lover, then this is the book for you. Peter and the Starcatchers can totally rock your world! Have you ever wondered why Peter is stuck on an island in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of pirates, lost boys who don't grow up, fairies and mermaids? Yeah, we know. It's a little out there if you think about it. This book will explain everything. It helps that the main character is tortured soul, (so hot--we love you CharlieSaintCloud), but he is 12, and he'll stay that way forever... and this has some romance in it, too. Poor Molly--destined to fail with Peter but George D. makes it okay.  i really like how this book entwines a new exciting story into a classic one.
